Chef Ann Ahmed has done it once again - created a beautiful space to connect her local community with her culture, heritage and the delicious food of Northern Laos. Gai Noi has been warmly welcomed, with lines out the door and even quickly making it onto The New York Times' 2023 Top 50 Restaurant List. 

The previous occupant of the space leaned heavily into dark and industrial finishes, not conducive to Chef Ann's bright flavor profiles. Working with Shea, and without any major structural changes, we were able to modify the aesthetics significantly. Brightening it up by adding cane panels, light-toned woods, airy lighting fixtures and lots of greenery.
